I've absolutely no idea what the connection between the text (which I've only scanned) and the photograph is, but I just wanted to say thanks for the picture. We've spent many a cid'rd hour relaxing in The Seven Stars or is it the Smithy.

I lived in the cottage on the right for 23 years and the joy of being able to walk across to the sea with a cup of tea far outweighed the few trains that pass. Now the crossing is closed to protect us so we can rot in front of the TV in total safety for the rest of our miserable lives!
