After hours of searching and studying a closer picture of the tree the only thing i can determine is it looks like some species of bamboo, although the leaves are wavy at the edges and there is no visible stalk. unfortunately i do not recall anything in particular about these trees when i took this picture and i am no botanist so I'm sure i could be mistaken. but the leaf pattern and the way it grows in groups of two or more points to bamboo. hope that helps!
