This was taken while sailing from Melbu to Sortland returning from my easter holiday. I learned on that trip that while Easter is spring in southern Norway, it's definitely winter in the north. I was overtaken by six snowstorms with zero visibility on this passage, then met by the seventh snowsquall as I passed under the Sortland bridge. Sitting in the companionway with the cabin heater on full, I was toasting below the waist and freezing above.
OK - now it's right ...
Ther is another picture of M/B PIA. Near Grimsøy, Vega. 2 persons and a dog.
Thanks for the advice, I'll try to fix it over the weekend.
Darn it! I thought I had fixed that. I apologise again, I think it should be gone by the time you read this.
Thanks a lot J. Braga for helping me with the location of this photo.
I have some others from Porto where I'm unsure about the location. Could you have a look?
They are numbers 597009, 597420, 597552, 596939 and 596981
I think this photo must be mapped in the wrong place!
The comments below the photos come from a geographic database that is nowhere near perfect. The Panoramio team are apparently looking at implementing a different data base. The title above the photo was written by the photographer.
This image is Fiskarheimen, Røst (the Fishermens home) to the left. It is not the main harbour area.
