Yes. Our native Red squirrel is only found in a few places now. Formby Point near Liverpool being the nearest to where I live.

These are Whooper swans. Huge numbers arrive in November. Some continue further south after a brief stay here. Those that remain will still until spring and then return to their breeding grounds in Scandinavia and Russia.
We also get Bewick's swans but only in small numbers.
