Hi Tim , I'm pleased you are enjoying my gallery and also finding it useful.
With the short days at this time of year it can be a gamble deciding whether to venture out or not. As you say the best weather often seems to come when daylight is fading fast. Many's the time I've put off going out only to regret it later in the day when the sun comes out just when it's too late to travel anywhere.
I remember this walk well. I could hardly lift my feet , my boots were so heavy with mud :-)
Pleased to hear that. I believe they are doing quite well on Anglesey in north Wales after they took measures to eradicate the greys from the island.
It reminded me of the wave patterns you find on the beach.
Yes it was Tim. I use the Nikon 105mm f2.8 VR for most of my macro shots , but you'll find a few that were taken with the Nikon 300mm f4
What a beautiful well-composed shot! Hello Galatas I have been looking at your gallery and been fascinated. Your wildlife photos are stunning and, as a fellow NW England resident with very similar interests, I love seeing someone else's take on places I know well. This one of High Legh Church puts mine to shame!! Best wishes,Tim
Awesome photo, just perfect!
