I made my final contribution to Panoramio in November. I don't expect to be back anytime soon because of the new layout.

Thankyou for your kind comment, Michael. The photos I uploaded yesterday are the same ones that I uploaded in November. You are probably aware that thousands of photos from around that time never made it to Google Earth. Like many other people I got sick of waiting for the Panoramio Team to solve the problem , and deleted my affected photos and re-uploaded them.

I still think the new layout is terrible and I definitely will be using Panoramio much less than I used to.

Indeed , all mountain areas are prone to sudden changes in weather that can catch out those who venture out without the correct equipment for every eventuality , sometimes with fatal consequences.

A wonderful shot indeed, overcast days have their value!

Thankyou Dimitre. It was my intention to show the contrast between old and modern styles of architecture.

Thanks Keith.

There haven't been many days recently when it would have been safe to venture on those clifftop paths. Fortunately for me the weather was much gentler last July , so no need to photoshop the sky.

As of November 2013, its gone.

My mum lived on this street and also Selbourn Street xxx
