Immerhin die Kirche hat man stehen lassen. Der Rest des Ortes wurde ja abgerissen und die Dorfbewohner vertrieben, als man dort nach dem 2. Weltkrieg einen belgischen Truppenübungsplatz einrichtete. Die jetzige Bebauung wurde extra zwecks Übung des Häuserkampfes errichtet.

Hi there Henry - This is a lovely photo of Noordhoek beach and Kommetjie in the far distance.
