It's an abomination. I remember when they built the thing - so out of character with the rest of the town. Then they ripped down much of the downtown core to make a "pedestrian mall". The town looks like crap now.

BTW - I used to have lunch at the top of that monstrosity every day. Didn't realize how small Whitehill was until I looked down on it.

It is now blocked off just about at the edge of the photo.

At one time, however, it may have run all the way down to the drawbridge/bridge combination of the North Entrance. If you click here then you can see the vertical beams of an upraised drawbridge on the left of the photo. This drawbridge protects a road tunnel which has smaller tunnels leading off from it. One of these has a spiral staircase at the bottom of which is a short tunnel heading exactly towards where Tunnel 3 is blocked off.
