No, not at all! He has had a good life, and when he lived in this house in Utrecht he was happy. I have good memories of those times and also of this particular place.

Mijn smaak is het ook niet, maar apart is het wel. Elke tijd heeft zo zijn eigenaardigheden - nog geen reden voor sloop. (Ook de Eiffeltoren werd niet meteen door iedereen gewaardeerd!)

My wife and I visited Malang in 2002. I remember a beautiful city hall (with pond in front of it) not far from the railway station, a bridge across a deep ravine and river, a big busy square with mosque and church, and, some streets behind that, a Chinese temple. We liked Malang very much! And I am honoured to be allowed to participate in your group.

Actually, I was standing then on the top of the Portland peninsula and looking back towards the coast of (the mainland of) Dorset, near Weymouth.
