I'm a geography professor at Northwest Vista College in San Antonio, TX, USA. I enjoy traveling and taking pictures while out and about doing geography.
"Emergency" water is in the canyon below this casita. Could be filtered from pools or from pools made by digging a few inches. Leave the casita in better condition than you found it so the Park doesn't lock it up.
I am writing Ríos de Tinta, a publishing house dedicated to publishing educational books and children's literature-www.riosdetinta.com. We are currently doing the editing of book titled, tentatively, “Historia y Geografía de Tamaulipas, Estudio de la Entidad donde Vivo”. It has been our interest to include this photo.

There's water here, even after the severe 2011 drought. True oasis in the desert.
