I've been there once walking the Horse Track route from Tolukuma Gold Mines site to Fane Mission Station in January 2009. It was a nice place to be...a remote location..very interesting buildings built by early missionaries..

Thanks for the correction. Like one of the other guys you helped I tried to work the names out later using Google Earth.

The Heron was so intent on hunting that it walked right through our legs to persue this crab. The crab made a valiant attempt to escape but the bird eventually caught it, pulled its legs off and ate it.

Thanks for commenting on this picture. It was taken in 1998 or 1999. You say it's very different now. Have they built any buildings on this area of land? Have I position the photo correctly within Kundiawa?
