I have been an amateur photographer for most of my life, and have taken classes both in high school and at the college level. After emigrating to Canada as a child,I grew up in British Columbia, Canada, but moved to northern Alberta 10 years ago. It took me several years to get used to the change in geography and ultimately to embrace the sublime harmony of the Peace Country. Since then I have been on a mission to share this part of the world with whomever cares to see. I think that Google Earth, and Panoramio are a wonderful way for those of us who can not travel the earth ourselves to see the beauty of it anyway. I have a daughter on Panoramio here, , and my father is also on here, . Besides the local landscape I have interest in capturing the feline form, flowers and old vehicles. I also have a growing collection of murals from local artists. By learning, I am a Horticulturist, but these days I work in a Sawmill, and I enjoy my work very much. Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy my take on the Peace Country of northern Alberta, Canada. Vicki

Does that really qualify as s shelter lol! Nice framing and beautiful view indeed.

Yep, Reno, balloon, air and camel races, I do have some of these, continuous tone, pre digital, late 80's not bad for point and shot.

Thanks again, RN, for the nice comment and your visit. I'm very happy you Like it!

Hello,liked , greetings from Turkey

Bruce, like a pile of velvet fabric. A bit like Beauregard's face! A beautiful & interesting landscape. L&F. Heather.
