This is the "Richard Mott House", a historic artists cottage, built c.1880. One of the oldest houses in Bayswater.

William of Bello Fargo, Bishop of Thetford (died 1091) was a major landholder mentioned in the Domesday Book[1]. His land holdings were mainly in the county of Norfolk and Suffolk. William became Bishop of Thetford in 1085.
