We camped out near to this pub and decided to treat oourselves to a nice evening meal instead of more beans! Treat doesn't really do it justice, spoilt is more like it. A speciality fish list and a steak to die for with a homemade desert menu makes this possibly the best "pub grub" ever, there was even something for the veggie munchers! A three course meal and a bottle of wine for 2 for under £80....BARGAIN!! Add to this a beautiful village setting and you can't go wrong. Enjoy.

Hi Phil thanks for your kind comments, it really makes all the hard work worthwhile. I would love to publish some but time and money is always a problem. I remember the Huntsman and The Lord Cornwallis outside Tunbridge Wells West, I think it was called that, I know it was a little dodgy to say the least. Happy memories!

i lived at station house groombridge, lived at the station, with trains passing by all the time, it was great fun . station house groombridge would love to be living in that house again.
