its a nice picture, no cranes in the background.

Actually, I have seen the Police back there in the past, even by the pond, dress shoes and all. Told me they'd had some calls about kids going back there, illegal drinking, making a mess of the place. They didn't seem overly concerned with the fact that we were just hiking around. They told us it was private property, but, I have also heard from the Johnson County Court that the property is owned by the Waterford Court apartments. Its a shame what they have done to the start of the path there by the "hill" so to speak. All the illegal dumping. I'm now in my mid 20's and have been going back there since my elementary days. I've also gone out of my way to clean up the place, pulling couches, rafts, bags, lawn chairs, barrels and other debris from the pond itself. Not to mention many bags of random garbage, beer bottles, cans, foam earthworm containers, other rotten items, and disposed of them properly. Since when can a firefighter afford a $300k house?
