A frog and little black fishes in Oasis Sacree, Sahara, Morocco

High! Indeed, water in Sahara isn't that rare... See this picture of a lake in the middle of nowhere.

At right, you can see a mosque. We are in front a simple Hotel. Starting a six day travel to Erg Chegaga, with this 2 camels, a guide and a camelman. One camel for me, and the other for all material, food, water, carpet, tent, etc. Sep, 2006.

After 2 and half hours of walking and camel traveling: Resting at noon, under the last palms of M'hamid oasis. September, 6th, 2007, 48ºC. A local inhabitant passing...

First day's journey. These are not the best clothes (dry fit material) for the sun and sand of Sahara's desert.

Vapor Benjamin Guimarães, construído em 1913, navegou no Mississipe, depois Amazonas, e na década de 20 veio para o São Francisco. Ultimo barco à vapor, em funcionamento usando carvão.

Esta foto está excelente. Mostra bem a inclinação das dunas, e a altura.
