Did you know Goerge Washington DeLong starved to death in early northwest passage exploration close to Tiksi. I've seen his grave cross at Tiksi museum in september /95

По-моему, слово "Тикси" означает "спокойная вода". У якутского языка тюркская основа, "тик" - означает "спокойный", "су" - вода.
