The quintissential country Pub. Great beer with a very good selection of real ales, some brewed on site. The pub manager, Bill, is a really friendly chap, with a joke for every occassion. Recently refurbished outdoor patio area is very smart.
Also has a restaurant, although I have eaten there in a while.
Many happy memories here as a child, he used to let me open the barrier to let the river in - everything started to move and my ponies oats were crushed . . .
