Hôtel du Restaurant le Mimosa
(Ostalaria Cardabela)
10, Place de la Fontaine
34725 Saint Saturnin de Lucian
France
http://hoteldumimosa.blogspot.com/
The small village of Saint Saturnin de Lucian is in the foothills of the Massif Central, where the plateau of the Larzac drops down to the Mediterranean. Situated within a short distance of Saint Guilhem-le-Désert, the Grottes de Clamouse and the Lake Salagou as well as the market towns of Pézenas, Lodève, Clermont l’Hérault and Gignac, it is encircled by vineyards, olive groves and the many paths created and trod throughout the ages by countless pilgrims on their way to Saint Jacques de Compostela.
The hotel, at the heart of the village, opens onto a square shaded by plane trees. All of the seven rooms, which vary in size, have bathrooms, spacious beds and fine linen. The hotel has been simply but tastefully furnished and decorated by skilled local craftsmen.
In two of the neighbouring villages, a few minutes away, Restaurant Le Mimosa in Saint Guiraud prepares a highly creative menu with the most exquisite local products, accompanied by an unparalleled wine tasting, whilst in Montpeyroux, at La Terrasse du Mimosa, delicious, simple food is served in a relaxing atmosphere, with an extensive selection of the very finest wines from the surrounding vineyards, La Terrasse du Larzac; wines that can also be purchased at domain prices to cellar for future enjoyment.
