This should be spelled Choukyuji. You don't need to put temple after because "Ji" means temple. It's redundant to have it twice.

国立博物館の新館横。自転車置き場になっている場所にある桜の木です。花弁が多く本当に可愛い桜です。４月遅くに満開になり、毎年楽しみにしています。

紫陽花で有名な矢田寺ですが、大門坊には沙羅の花が咲いています。平家物語にうたわれた花です。ナツツバキと間違われやすいと聞きますが、沙羅の花は花弁の先がフリル状になっており、厚みも薄いですね。咲いてもたった１日で落ちてしまうそうで、雨で花弁も傷つきやすいとてもデリケートな花です。梅雨時の短い期間しか見られない花です。
