This is the good ship SS Armand Considere. He was a great reinforced concrete designer. Born near Paris. He moved to London in 1911 and became Considere Construction building bridges over the Thames, The Clyde.. to name a few. Considere Construction turned to Considere and Partners and are still going strong to this day.(2012) The main office remains in London. The ship is made of reinforced concrete and it is still afloat. quote.. The S.S. Armand Considere was launched in May, 1944 and delivered to the army four months later to be used as a store ship in the South Pacific. In 1948, she was purchased by the Powell River Company and used as part of their breakwater.

I worked for 20 odd years for Armand. I'd like to think my ship will be still sailing in 100 years time. too much? Lt.

Very nice, Great shot. Sturdy cabin. Dan

Oh, yeah! That is just hilarious :D I wonder how long it lasted? Good capture.

Great view from the top of that tower, and a fun climb up :)

Tebrikler çok hoş bir fotograf yakalamışsın.

Hi Derek You must be either a logger, a yachtie or a hard-core ocean kayaker (like myself) to have gotten out there. Most of the other Panoramio photos of Seymour/Belize are mine (cyberhun). It's good to see more people experience this remote corner of the BC coast. Regardz
