This is Brunel's suspension bridge, the first in the world. Until this bridge was designed and constructed over the Clifton Gorge (the River Avon and the A4 run below it), most bridges were designed using arches.
This photograph is fine but the location from which it was teken is WRONG!!! It was taken from Prince Street Bridge, not Redcliffe Bridge. Please correct.
