Life in the Philippines in definitely improving ever since the Marcos regime. During those times the middle class did not even exist. Hopefully with a new administration, corruption would be less rampant. If I'm not mistaken, Philippines ranks high on the list when it comes to corrupt governments. But the country is undeniably beautiful.
