Birmingham faces many challenges due to space. They have figured out ways to incorporate both businesses and homes into one structure. New construction is popping up everywhere to create public resonance. What other challenges does the city of Birmingham face?

I saw this church and thought that it was really pretty. It creates a sense of community because people gather every Sunday to worship. What other places in Birmingham give people a sense of community?

The Peanut Depot was opened in 1907 which makes it an artifact of the old Birmingham. It's a place where many tourists go to experience the old peanut making process with original machinery and processes. What are other Birmingham artifacts?

The City Federal Building is a functional one because it is historical and was sitting empty. The city decided to turn it into condos so that they would keep the historical facade and have a convenient place for people to live. What's another functional building in downtown?

The park was not named Capital Park because Birmingham did not become the capital. I don't think it became the capital because Montgomery was already established.

Parks help create a sense of community because when there are a lot of people there, it creates a sense of safety. Also, visiting parks help you to meet new people and visit with the ones you already know.

Selling local art helps the economy because people who live in Birmingham want to support it by buying Birmingham. It keeps the money in Birmingham.

The business are moving to streets where there are more businesses because that will attract more people. People don't want to shop where there are just as many empty spaces as there are stores.

Birmingham is the place to be because its alive with college students and people who work here during the day and the night.

Parks are symbolic in downtown because they show that we want to make Birmingham more of a community. We want people to get together in one place and feel safe about it with plenty of watchful eyes around.
