Impressive waterfalls and an attractive shot. I'm glad to be the first to comment it. Regards, Christian

I finally made it 100 years on. See how the church interior looks today

Finally managed to visit this tiny village a century on from when my grandfather was here. How the 'village pub' looks today

Now I can't stop humming the 'Cheers' tune! Great photo showing that the bar is still attracting tourists well over 20 years since the show ended. All the best, Brian

Many thanks Christian. Sorry for not replying sooner but I've been away for a few days. Best wishes, Brian

Thanks Geoff. Iceland is definitely worth visiting. It's totally different from the green pastures of England. I hadn't realised how big it is. We were there for under a week and only saw the south-west of the country. Of course 80% of the population live in or near Reykjavik so that's where much of the tourist business is based. We didn't see the Northern Lights (we didn't expect to) not least because it didn't get dark! It was still broad daylight at midnight. You have to go in winter to see the Lights. Best wishes, Brian PS I've still several photos of waterfalls and glaciers etc. to upload when I can.
