I've had a camera for more years than I care to remember and in recent years I made the switch to digital. I'm not a professional, although I am looking to do some part time pro-work. I enjoy shooting landscapes, seascapes, and recording changes to my local area. With an interest in local history and current affairs, I am rarely outdoors without a camera. My main areas of interest are Birchwood, Warrington, Cheshire and Anglesey, especially Moelfre, but I enjoy taking photos anywhere I go.

Thanks Carrie! I've always liked the way the island emerges like this as you go past the house on the corner of the headland.

Standing in the grounds of the former Risley Presbyterian Church. It stood for over 300 years before being demolished for the construction of the M62. Nothing remains of the old church building itself, although some of the grounds and graves are still in place.
