Thanks for posting this great photo. It gives me the shivers! Every summer from 1954 to 1960 my family drove over that bridge on our way to and from our cabin. I must have been about 7 when my father, driving our 1950-something station wagon (with my mother, my 3 sibs and I onboard) decided to drive across at the same time as the train. I can still hear the sounds: the train wheels on the metal tracks, its whistle blowing; my mother shouting my father's name. I wish I remembered the type of signage that warned not to cross if a train was coming. Do you know what it was or where I could find out? Thanks.

Yes, the bridge is high, but to help identify it, it is the Smith Avenue, state route 149 bridge
